Dr. Elammaran Jayamani joined Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus (SUTS) 2007. Dr. Elammaran is an Associate Professor of the Mechanical Engineering program at the Faculty of Engineering, Computing, and Science.
A Creative Educator for over 23 years, promoting sustainable materials research and development. Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Materials and Processes with expertise in Learning and Teaching, Research and scholarship, and Leadership and Service. Well-versed in training and mentoring students, research scholars, and educators.
He has completed his Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching (Higher Education) at the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. He is a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers – Chartered Engineer (CEng) MIMechE (U.K.). International Professional Engineering (IntPE) U.K. His main research areas include Polymer matrix composite materials, Energy and Environmental sustainability, and Learning and Teaching.
