Biography

Dr. Alicia Lim is a lecturer in Early Childhood Education at Swinburne Sarawak. Prior to her role here, she worked as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the United States, where she supported children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a residential setting. Her experiences include working with children and families in a range of environments, such as shelters, hospitals, preschools, and centers specializing in ASD.

Dr. Lim earned her PhD in Behavior Analysis from Western New England University (WNEU). Her research focused on enhancing parent-child communication for families with children with ASD in residential care and investigated strategies to improve the transition between home and school through parent training programs designed to develop daily living skills.
