Biography
Ms. Elizabeth Voong is currently the Associate Dean, External Engagement and Impact. Elizabeth had over 13 years of public practice as an auditor, at least 10 years as an internal trainer and approximately 6 years as a counsellor. Elizabeth’s professional experience include various management and leadership roles with working exposure in Malaysia, UK and Mongolia. Elizabeth had experience leading smaller to larger and diversified teams, serving clients from private limited companies, pension funds, to large public listed companies. Specifically, Elizabeth held various positions in the audit and assurance field with Ernst & Young, one of the Big 4 public accounting firms in the United Kingdom and Malaysia, and Cargill Palm Products Sdn. Bhd., Kuala Lumpur.
In 2013, Elizabeth obtained her Master of Business Administration, with distinction, from Oxford Brookes University (UK). Elizabeth was a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK) since 2005. She was admitted as a Fellow of the ACCA in 2010. She is also an approved GST agent in Malaysia granted by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department since March 2015 and she is also an approved company auditor granted by the Ministry of Finance since May 2017.Research Interests
