Australian Computer Society (ACS) is the professional association for Australia’s technology sector. They represent technology professionals across industry, government and the education sector to grow the digital skills and capacity in the profession.
In the next 5 years, there will be a strong demand for more skilled professionals to enable the growth of the economy and ACS support this strong demand by helping Technology professionals.
ACS provides accreditation to universities across the globe. ACS accreditation is awarded to an institution and its programs after a rigorous evaluation of their capacity to produce graduates who have the knowledge and skills required of an ICT professional. ACS promotes quality in ICT-related higher education to meet future industry needs. ACS sets graduate standards, drives improvements and refinements, and gives recognition to quality programs. ACS also ensures that new specialist courses build key skills for critical emerging fields. These qualifications are recognised internationally by signatories of the Seoul Accord.
