Biography

Dr. Rebecca Lee is an accomplished educator and researcher with over 25 years of experience teaching students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Since 2019, she has been an English Lecturer at Swinburne University of Technology, specializing in second language writing pedagogy and technology-enhanced language learning. Previously, Dr. Lee led Intensive English programs for a decade before shifting her focus to research. Her work explores innovative approaches to second language writing, with a particular emphasis on integrating digital tools to enhance student engagement and improve writing instruction.

Dr. Lee has authored numerous journal articles and conference papers on language education and technology, contributing significantly to the field. Her research and teaching excellence have earned her prestigious awards, including the 2024 Bronze Award for International e-Content Development and recognition as one of the Top 50 Malaysia Influential Educators. Further to her academic achievements, Dr. Lee serves as a judge for the QS Reimagine Education Awards & Conference 2024, further solidifying her role as a leader in language education.
