SARAWAK WOMEN X: GLOBAL INNOVATIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP

In this symposium, successful women from different fields will be sharing their ideas and thoughts with the participating women entrepreneurs on "Creating innovative Entrepreneurship" in the 21st century. There will also be a panel discussion on "Navigating the challenges of being an entrepreneur: our success stories" and a sharing session on “Good Design” from Malaysia Design Council.

The conference will be a forum where fellow academics share experiences, exchange knowledge, work hand-in-hand, and find managerial and entrepreneurial solutions for a better business world. The conference will present six keynote speakers from six different countries: Australia, USA, UK-China, Malaysia, and Pakistan.

GREAT DESIGN WEEK 2020 SYMPOSIUM

Venue: Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus
The symposium is an opportunity to bring applied design research, practice, governance and scholarship to examine good design for community, housing, culture, heritage, resources, eco-tourism and creative economy. The event brings together the best and brightest students and expert staff from both Curtin University, Australia and Swinburne University of Technology, Malaysia to collaborate with Kuching’s local government and industry, and expert colleagues from design firms from Vietnam and Singapore to spend four days in Kuching, East Malaysia.

GRADUATION CEREMONY

The graduation ceremony is the time of celebration for students who have successfully completed their academic session in the University. All the knowledge, hard works, endless efforts and great friendship obtained during the time here in Swinburne Sarawak will be celebrated and to be presented with relevant certifications by the University. The University staff, including the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor and Council members, administrative teams and academics regularly attend ceremonies to congratulate the graduates on their achievements.

An annual dinner organizes by the University for the staffs as an appreciation towards their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
