Sarawak is rich in biodiversity and thus, a great resource for natural products. On 2 December 2021, a free webinar was hosted by Sarawak Biodiversity Centre (SBC) via Zoom and Facebook Live. Dr. Irine Runnie Ginjom was invited to share some findings from her research project entitled, “Screening of antioxidant potentials of selected edible plants in Sarawak”. Other presenters included Dr. Vivien Jong Yi Mian from UiTM Sarawak, Dr. Angela Siner from UNIMAS and Mdm. Norhasmillah Abu Hasan from UTS. The 2-hour webinar is part of SBC’s public awareness effort towards its role in promoting biotechnology and biodiversity.
