KUCHING – Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus School of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) organised a talk titled ‘Into Limitless Digital Sphere’ on 7 October via Swinburne Sarawak’s Facebook page.
This talk featured two alumni speakers. The first speaker was Eshan Shafeeq, a Spacecraft Software and Automation Engineer at Spire Global Singapore, whereas the second speaker was Chong Juang Yi, a Java Web Developer at SAINS Sarawak. The webinar was emceed by Choo Ai Ling from the School of ICT.
Dr Valliappan Raman, Deputy Head of the School of ICT, first delivered the welcoming speech during the webinar, touching on the trends and growth of technology coupled with the courses available at Swinburne that help to cater to these trends.
This was followed by Chong who shared his experience as a newcomer in the digital workforce and the key values that can be helpful. Eshan next shared on how Swinburne has benefitted him and propelled him towards his career in IoT.
The session ended with a Q&A session that addressed key questions from the emcee and audience.
