MBA (International) program preview on 15 December

KUCHING – Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus will preview – its MBA (International) program at its Open Day this Saturday (15 December, 2012).

Dr Ismail Ait Saadi, Associate Dean for Research with the Faculty of Business and Design, will speak at the event which starts from 2pm to 4pm.

MBA (International) graduates are able to pursue a managerial career in any industry or sector. The program helps to enhance their career opportunities by improving their leadership and management capabilities, and learning to operate effectively in a changing, complex and turbulent environment.

“The program – equips students with knowledge and skills in key managerial functions including financing, marketing, human resource development, operations management, business development, strategic direction, and corporate governance,” said Ismail.

“It develops the capacity of students to analyse business situations and formulate strategic responses in a global context to enable organisations to survive and grow despite facing challenging circumstances,” he added.

The MBA (International) is designed to accommodate both fresh graduates and working executives. For fresh graduates, the program broadens their outlook, improves employability skills, provides avenues to develop professional networks, and gives a competitive edge to their career.

Working executives will find that the program extends their professional network and prepares them for a senior management role.

The MBA program can be completed on a full-time or part-time study. Classes will be held in the evenings to accommodate working adults.
