Visit us on Postgraduate Info Day this Saturday

KUCHING – If you’re thinking about postgraduate studies, drop in at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus’ Postgraduate Info Day this Saturday, 16 January.

Starting from 10am to 3pm the event will showcase the university’s range of postgraduate programs, and visitors will have a chance to speak with academic staff teaching the courses about their interest and subject areas, funding for postgraduate studies, and meet students and alumni who will share their experiences.

A series of short, program-specific talks will be conducted by senior academics from 10:30am to 3pm.

Swinburne Sarawak offers postgraduate programs both by coursework and by research. Its coursework programs are the Master of Business Administration (International), and the Master of Arts (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

Intake for the MBA (International) is 1 February while that for MA (TESOL) is 22 August.

Swinburne Sarawak graduates who enrol on a master by coursework program are eligible to a 15 per cent program fee waiver.

Other graduates who enrol on its master by coursework programs with a CGPA that meets the criteria may be offered a bursary.

Swinburne Sarawak’s postgraduate programs by research are the Master of Business, Master of Engineering, and Master of Science.

The university values research as one of its prime missions. Graduates with a high standard in their studies may join the university’s postgraduate research community as a master or doctor of philosophy candidate.

Those interested to pursue these areas of study will have a chance to learn more about the requirements, application process, and much more by speaking to senior academics during the event.
