In 2019, Swinburne Sarawak embarked on a comprehensive campus redevelopment initiative in order to enhance the campus experience for students. The upgrade supports Swinburne’s mission of fostering student access, providing students with a world-class teaching and learning environment, and supporting the university’s growing student population.
These projects resulted in the construction of four key spaces: the new Student Hub, a purpose-built Food Hall, the Borneo Atrium with an extension to the Library called The Junction, and the upgraded on-campus accommodation rebranded as Student Village.
