Biography

Ms. Rosedelina Mustapha is a West Malaysian and resides in Kuching, Sarawak since 1993 and has become a permanent resident. She is a creative and passionate graphic design lecturer both in teaching and any task related to design and creativity. She has vast experience in education and creative works for at least 20 years. Besides lecturing, she has experience in managing the design program as a Program Leader, managed registry tasks as a Registrar Manager, and managed and supervised matters related to compliance and marketing as a Senior Management Team.

She holds a master’s degree in education management and both a bachelor’s degree and diploma in design technology (majoring in graphic design) programs. She has taught graphic design programs at the undergraduate level for 16 years plus under the streams of drawing, design studies, corporate identity/branding, packaging design, and advertising.

She has won several design competitions in school and college level such as collage work, mask, kite, batik, mini garden, ceramic, poster, and hanging mobile. She has also been involved and participated in the yearly prestige event, Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) for creative design workshops and exhibitions.

She has also been appointed as a judge for various design competitions at a state level from both West Malaysia and Sarawak organizations such as Sarawak Research Society and Responsible Borneo for Sarawak Youth Talent (SYT) 2023 and 2024, Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MAGIC) Sarawak, Development Bank of Sarawak (DBOS), Upper Rajang Development Agency (URDA) Sarawak, Kementerian Kebajikan, Kesejahteraan Komuniti, Wanita, Keluarga dan Pembangunan Kanak-Kanak, Kuching Water Board, Jabatan Agama Islam Sarawak, Sarawak Information Systems (SAINS) and several shopping malls around Kuching area.

Besides, she has also been involved in several community services work to do mural paintings, to name a few were Rumah Kanak-Kanak Toh Puan Hajjah Norkiah at Serian, Sarawak in collaboration with Sarawak Islamic Information Centre and Catz FM, and Sarawak Children Cancer Society, Kuching, Sarawak.

Clothed with strength, she strives for success in everything she does. She is enthusiastic and not afraid of challenges. She believes that being a perfectionist is a key character and aspect to produce quality and successful work. Passion and focus are the two keywords that will always be in her mind. She instills and sends the same words of wisdom to all students under her care.
