Amy received her Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (1st Class Honours) from Swinburne University of Technology. She received her Meng in the field of statistical process control from the same institution in 2020.
Amy joined the School of Engineering at Swinburne University of Technology (Sarawak Campus) (SUTS) as a Seasonal Lecturer in 2022 and was appointed as a Lecturer in 2024.
Her research interests include Statistical Process Control.
