Speaker: Mr Reuben Wee
Profile: Reuben has been actively involved in the software development industry for more than 20 years. He is the founder and director of Rajang Digital Solutions Sdn Bhd.

In that session, Reuben shared with us how successful people focus on developing personal and professional skills, knowledge, and abilities in response to and in anticipation of changing performance requirements. The talks also included presentations on current topics in the digital industry.

Profile: Mr. Chuah is an educational technology innovator specializing in learning design and app development. He is also the lecturer & co-director of Startup Grind Sarawak.

Summary: The idea of a tech startup conjures up romantic notions of young people going from rags to riches. In that session, Chuah shared with us the “reality” of starting a company and the skills and competencies needed in this field. The presentation focused on the challenges faced by startups, his experience over the past 10 years as well as tips for equipping oneself with knowledge and skills.
