This laboratory serves Bachelor of Engineering programs in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Computer System Engineering. It has state of the art equipment, such as a performance network analyser, spectrum analyser, sampling oscilloscope as well as more conventional equipment such as slotted lines, function generators, digital oscilloscopes, LCR and VSWR meters. The equipment is used for advanced undergraduate training as well as research. Currently, the laboratory is designed to provide hands on experience in electromagnetics (HET 316) and RF Electronics Design (HET517). Data sheets, laboratory and instrument manuals are all available on line. Two electromagnetic simulators, SONNET and CST are available.
