The role requires strong leadership in curriculum development, research, and external engagement. 

This senior academic position demands a candidate with an outstanding teaching portfolio and a strong research background in design, multimedia, and related fields. The successful applicant will lead the development of innovative and interdisciplinary design education, contribute to research excellence, and supervise Master’s and PhD students. Expertise in emerging digital design technologies, user experience (UX) design, motion graphics, branding, and interactive media is highly valued.

Successful candidates will be expected to convene and teach undergraduate and postgraduate units in TESOL within the School of Design and Arts. The role includes supervising research students, leading curriculum development, and engaging in impactful research.

The appointed Senior Lecturer should demonstrate strong expertise in English language education, second language acquisition, and language pedagogy. Candidates with experience in technology-enhanced language learning, sociolinguistics, curriculum design, or bilingual education will be highly regarded.
