      The Manager, Prospect Experience, will head the three main portfolio areas of this unit: Branding and Creative, Marketing Communications and Digital Marketing. The position will work closely with the student recruitment team to assist in the acquisition target for the suites of qualifications delivered by Swinburne Sarawak.

      This is a role that works across the whole University to provide a consistent, cohesive and strategic approach to branding and marketing communications. Areas of responsibilities are inclusive of Branding, Marketing, Media, Publications and Content Development, Events and Communications across domestic and international markets.
      The responsibilities include devising and implementing a marketing plan with direct accountability for a sizeable budget, analysing and measuring the effectiveness of lead generation campaigns.

      The Manager, Prospect Experience, will lead and manage Swinburne Sarawak’s media, creative, content and digital agencies and the annual budget for the unit to deliver integrated campaigns which are cohesive, impactful and with a focus on student recruitment and brand health. The position works closely with academic and administrative staff at Swinburne Sarawak, as well as liaises with colleagues at Swinburne Australia to ensure consistency in branding, marketing and the efficient use of global resources.

        The position will assist the Director, Future Students to develop, implement strategies and tactics to ensure that the processes related to prospective student journey is seamless and upholding the quality of the brand of Swinburne.

        The primary focus of this position is to proactively assist and support the Assistant Manager, Admissions and Visa to provide information, administrative support to prospective and current students into providing information and assistance to Swinburne Sarawak students, staff and external stakeholders, in relation to student insurance and related functions.

        This position is responsible for providing and ensuring that the functions which include duties listed below are carried out in a highly coordinated, professional and effective manner: –
        1. Student Insurance Administrator – oversee the renewal, monitoring, claims and cancellation process;
        2. Records Accuracy – maintain records of student insurance policies and coverage;
        3. Liaison Officer – liaise with insurance providers and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive coverage and assistance is extended to students; and

              This executive position at the Sarawak Campus is responsible for providing high-level IT support to staff and students, supervising IT technicians, and ensuring operational performance.               • High-Level Support: Provide exceptional support to the University staff and students;
              • Documentation: Develop and maintain procedural and technical documentation related to customer service and application support;

              The position plays a pivotal role in supporting the Transformation Strategy Manager in planning, driving, and executing strategic transformation initiatives within the University. Reporting to the Transformation Strategy Manager, the position will work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure the successful planning, coordination, and execution of institutional transformation efforts.
              The position supports the Office of the PVC&CEO (Sarawak), working closely to:
              • Provide administrative support to the Transformation Strategy Manager and PVC&CEO (Sarawak) and overall office;

                Administrative Officer – Higher Degree Research [fixed-term contract]

                The responsibilities of this position include general administration of any Higher Degree Research (HDR) related tasks and matters in the University, although the main priority focuses on HDR candidatures after student enrolment and before the examination process. The administrative duties include monitoring milestone progress reviewers for HDR students at the Sarawak campus, liaising with the HDR candidature team in Swinburne Melbourne on HDR candidature monitoring, and administering processes for HDR candidature amendments. The position is expected to help the School of Research implement and improve new processes and guidelines related to HDR student progression to facilitate on-time graduation in the University.

                Administrative Officer – Intellectual Property and Commercialisation [fixed-term contract]

                The responsibilities of this position include general administration of any internal and external research grants in the University during pre- and post-award stages, although the main priority focuses on administering and managing intellectual properties (IPs) for the School of Research. The IPs include copyrights, utility innovation, patents, etc. The administrative duties include IP planning support, documentation management, schedule coordination, risk and issue tracking, stakeholder engagement, resource management, the communication and provision of IPs related information to researchers, and the handling of all related administration processes to support grants and IPs processes. This includes but is not limited to, processing of claims, management and entry of data, maintenance of filing systems as well as some analytical tasks. The position is expected to help the School of Research implement and improve new IP processes and guidelines related to research grants and research consultancy projects.

                In undertaking these responsibilities, the position is expected to exhibit a highly professional approach in working closely and collaboratively with management and staff members at both the Sarawak and Melbourne campuses as well as with parties (private and government) external to the University.

                The position plays a crucial role in coordinating and executing multiple projects within the Training and Consultancy division.

                The position will report directly to Head of Consultancy and Training, SWIM. The position will be the subject matter expert in providing management support to the training and consultancy services entire value chain, within the disciplines under its care.

                The position is required to undertake or drive new initiatives or projects independently besides having excellent verbal and written communication skills. This role involves working with internal and external stakeholders, managing project timelines and resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring deliverables are met efficiently and effectively.

                The position will be required to work within a culture of continuous improvement and will be supported and encouraged to identify areas where efficiencies can be improved and control measures can be implemented to a higher standard.

                  Administrative Assistant [fixed-term contract]

                  This position provides administrative support for training and consultancy services. The position will report directly to the Administrative Officer, Consultancy and Training, SWIM.

                  The key role for this position is to provide administrative support to the training and consultancy services entire value chain, within the disciplines under its care. The position is also expected to work closely with external training and consultancy partners.

                  This position requires a high level of clerical precision, good communication skills and a fair understanding of finance and marketing matters.
