Swinburne’s School of Foundation Studies offers four Foundation Studies courses (Engineering/Science, Business, Design, Information and Communications Technology).
For new students who just joined us, the Foundation course that each of you undertake now is a pathway bridging your study life from secondary or high school to an undergraduate university course. The knowledge and skills that you study and learn from the Foundation course prepares you to be ready to enter the undergraduate course of your preference either here at the Sarawak campus or at the Melbourne campus. Swinburne Sarawak is equipped with the facilities and support you need to excel in your studies.
Learn the basic principles of business and complete studies in accounting, economics, law and marketing.
Designed to help you develop academic and communications skill and learn essential design theory and how to apply practical skills in drawing, illustration and graphic design.
Designed to help you develop skills in communication, information technology and mathematics, and undertake units in physics, chemistry, and mathematics for engineering.
Our IT course is designed to help you gain fundamental communication, mathematics and multimedia design skills and be introduced to areas of computer programming.
