SLVP Log Sheets
Submitting log sheets is an essential step in claimimng volunteer hours for the SELA &SLVP awawrd, as it serves as proof of your participation and contribution to the organization or event. Log sheets typically include information such as dates and times of your volunteering, the task performed, and the total number of hours spent volunteering.
By submitting your log shets, you are providing tangible evidence of the time and effort you have dedicated to volunteering, which is essential for organizations and award committees to assess your eligibility for recongition or awards. Without this documentation, it may be challenging for award acommittees to verify our volunteering contributions, and your application may not be considered.

You may find the SLVP Log Sheet here.
Step 1: Fill in the relevant areas of the log sheet before verification. Please ensure your description is clear. E.g. O-Week Feb 2023 (Usher).
Step 2: Acquire the verification signature by the poerson in charge. Please fill in the name and contact number of your PIC before you acquire the signature.
Step 3: Scan or email the digital copy to SLVP email (strictly no physical copies to be sent). Please ensure that the image is clear and legible. Email to volunteering@swinburne.edu.my with the title (Log Sheet Submissio0n: >your student id<)

Frequently Asked Question
In what circumstances can I still use the physical Log Sheet?
While we STRICLY DO NOT ACCPET PHYSICAL LOG SHEET SUBMISSIONS, you may still use it for external volunteering activities (signing purposes). If in the event that you feel the PIC is not able to digitally sign your log sheet, you may bring a physical copy with you for them to manually sign. Please ensure that when you submit it digitally, it is complete and legible.
Who shall submit the Log Sheet - Myself or the Person in Charge?
The individual claiming the points shall submit the log sheet themselves. We encourage SLVPians to record and submit the log sheets themselves to minimise discrepancies. However, if the Person in Charge (Signatory) prefers to send in the volunteer verification on behalf of all volunteers of their event. They may do so by emailing the list to volunteering@swinburne.edu.my provided they include: Volunteer Full Name, Student ID, Time (and Hours).
All activities and events are opt-in, so participate in the ones you're passionate about and be rewarded!
Besides events, you can also join training sessions to improve yourself or learn new skills. Some trainings are done in-person, some are online using the premium service LinkedIn Learning(but free for us!).
As your participation grows, you'll want to make sure you can keep track of it all. This is important because tracking your contributions helps us to reward you!
Track activities by using the SLVP Logsheet, available for download here!
Always remember to have your logsheet filled for each event joined. If you have any questions, you can always send us an email at volunteering@swinburne.edu.my

Volunteer Briefing
Requestors are required to provide a briefing for the volunteers regarding the volunteering event. Requestors may do so upon receiving the list of volunteers from SLVP and arrange a suiatable timing with the volunteers.
